Note regarding Top Surgery: Not all surgeons offering Top Surgery in Canada are funded. Fully private clinics are private for-profit facilities that receive no government funding: the surgeons are not reimbursed by the provincial health care insurance plan, and their patients must pay the full cost of the services rendered to them.

Note regarding Atlantic Canada: Egale is advised that while there is no formal policy recognizing coverage in some Atlantic provinces, SRS has often been paid for on a case-by-case basis. (Source)
